Kenya asks Israel for counter-terrorism assistance

Under threat of jihad emanating largely from Somalia, Kenya has asked Israel for help against terrorism. Kenya perceives jihad as seeking to take over all of eastern Africa. Israel, having the necessary experience, will gladly assist.

Kenya, a mostly Christian country, has not been afflicted with antisemitism. About 10 % of the population is Muslim.
